The three people, including Karen Celebertti, are accused of taking part in a failed coup attempt in the country. Celebertti had used beauty contests to turn them into political traps and ambushes, police said.

On November 23, Celebertti and her daughter were refused entry into Nicaragua and had to return to Mexico.
The day before Celebertti was denied entry, the country's Vice President and the wife of the president referred to the country's "new victories."
In Nicaragua, Murillo said that snakes have no place.
