A woman who was released from prison hopes to meet Taylor Swift.

Since her trial made headlines in 2015, she has become a pop culture darling. She was forced to use a wheelchair and a feeding tube, had her head shaved, and began to believe in many of the diagnoses she was given. Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder, while Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years. In addition to appearing in the upcoming Lifetime series The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, she will be the subject of a documentary by the same name. Taylor Swift's music helped Blanchard survive both her abuse and time in prison, as she used most of her commissary money to buy Swift's albums. She hopes that Taylor Swift will be in attendance at the Kansas City Chiefs game on New Year's Eve to show her support for her boyfriend.
