Harry Styles invested in a British fashion brand.

Fashion & StyleHarry Styles invested in a British fashion brand.

The pop star has become a minority shareholder in the British label after it was announced last night that he had ventured into more runway-adjacent territory. The investment will allow the designer to build his direct-to-consumer business and support a sustainable and long-term expansion. Harry Styles accepted a Brit Award in February. The future of S.S. Daley will be a shared vision by Harry and I as we focus on brand longevity and scaling the business into a modern British heritage house. The star is no stranger to the designs of the designer. Styles wore the clothing of the Liverpool native in the video for his single 'Golden'. The relationship between Styles and the Prize winner began in 2020 when he was introduced to the craftsmanship by his renowned stylist. After announcing an open call for emerging designers to submit their work via his social platforms, Lambert followed up asking for his graduate collection, and the rest, as they say, is history. Martine Rose, Grace Wales Bonner, Raf Simons and Jonathan Anderson are just a few of the fashion designers who have had their names associated with Pitti Uomo.

During London Fashion Week last season, he took a break from his usual schedule to start work on the collection inspired by the novel A Story of A Panic. I wonder what this investment will mean for the brand and its new shareholder. Can we expect a more prominent role from the global musician in the future? Time will tell.
