Musk claims that liquid oxygen caused the explosion.

ScienceMusk claims that liquid oxygen caused the explosion.

The second flight of the company's Super Heavy combo ended in fiery fashion because of a lack of cargo and liquid oxygen. Musk spent an hour talking about the company's achievements and his dreams of space travel. He said that it would have made it to the space station. The reason it didn't make it to space was due to the fact that we had a liquid oxygen that led to fire and an explosion. This writer isn't a rocket scientist, but having something explode because of ventiloquism seems bad. The lessons will have been learned, even though the rocket did not destroy the launch pad. It took the creation of a crater for Musk and his team to learn that using a lot of water in a launch is not a good idea. The Federal Aviation Administration has to approve the launch, but Musk told his audience there was a good chance of it happening next month. In order to get the rocket to go to space without exploding, the company plans to demonstrate an in-space engine burn and de-orbit the rocket. It wants to test transferring propellant between tanks and demonstrate the "Pez dispensers" for full-sized Starlink satellites. The first crewed landing on the Artemis program will take place in September of next year.
