The Chiefs beat the Bills in the playoffs for the sixth straight time.

SportsThe Chiefs beat the Bills in the playoffs for the sixth straight time.

They were joined by Larry Holder, Nate Taylor and Joe Buscaglia.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills played a rivalry game on Sunday. The Ravens will play the Chiefs next Sunday at M&T Stadium. In the playoffs, Kansas City beat Buffalo in the 2020 and 2021 playoffs. Losing to them, losing to anyone at home hurts.

The Bills had a chance to tie the game when Tyler Bass missed a 44-yard field goal. Isiah Pacheco broke through for a 5-yard touchdown run less than a minute into the fourth quarter to help the Chiefs win the game. Buffalo failed to pick up a first down on a fake punt in the fourth quarter, which led to a series of wild turns. The Bills were stopped short of the first down on the fake punt attempt, even though the Chiefs only deployed 10 players for the punt return. The defense turned it on in the fourth quarter. The offense is great and Josh Allen is a great football player, but the defense told them enough was enough, and they got the stops. Mecole Hardman fumbled the ball as he was tackled near the goal line after catching a pass from Mahomes. The Bills were able to challenge the call as the ball went out of the end zone, and they were able to take possession of the ball. The second touchdown came on a 5-yard run early in the second quarter. The second helped Buffalo regain the lead at 17-13 on a 2-yard touchdown run. Kelce kissed his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, in the direction of the suite where she was watching the game. The Eagles center came to the front of the open-air suite shirtless and bellowed his satisfaction for his brother's touchdown.

The dime package was relied on by Steve Spagnuolo with the season on the line. The Bills had a chance to score on their final drive, but the defense was able to stop them. He created enough pressure to cause Allen to miss his final two pass attempts. Even more impressive was the fact that the Chiefs didn't give up the big pass to Allen despite safety Mike Edwards sustaining a concussion on the first play of the game. The Bills were forced to take a field goal after the Chiefs stopped them in the red zone. The defensive players of the Chiefs celebrated when the Bills kicker missed a field goal. The Bills failed on a fake punt in the fourth quarter that would have given the Chiefs a chance to score. Hardman fumbled the ball near the pylon, the ball rolled into the end zone and out of bounds for a turnover two plays later.

The Bills have a playoff curse.

The Bills had their Super Bowl hopes dashed for the third time. The Bills couldn't get over the hump, having the chance to play the Chiefs at home in the playoffs for the first time since Sean McDermott became head coach. The Bills were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round for the second year in a row, and with an aging roster and a big cap sheet, it's not hard to see why. The plan was to attack Klein and Dodson through the air, and it worked, as Kelce was open seemingly all game. Outside of a late forced punt, and a Hardman turnover, it was a perfect game from Mahomes, who continues to be a thorn in the Bills' side when it is not the regular season.
