Helldivers 2 Patch 1.000.10 is being released on PS5 and Steam in order to address some of the issues that fans have encountered over the past week. The PC black screen is one of the issues, as well as the matchmaking and server issues. The patch will include prep for increased server load.
The Helldivers 2 patch addresses some of the problems listed above, as well as fixes ragdoll momentum, tunes the difficulty for the civilian missions that have been killing players, and implements an automatic retry mechanism for quickplay. Since its release, Helldivers 2 has been a huge hit and we thought it was a great game. Despite a server cap intended to address stability issues, it passed the all-time concurrent record set by Grand Theft Auto 5 over the weekend. Fixes.
Fixed crash when replicating destructions. The black screen issue at startup was avoided with the improved way that we handle platform authentication.
There are known issues.
Some of the issues introduced by the patch are being worked on or have not yet been fixed. The game may have issues when interacting with the server. The armor values for light/medium/ heavy armor do not currently function as intended.
