After his 80th birthday, Roger Daltrey wrote that he was on his way out. We need someone else to drive things, because the average life expectancy is 83.

Daltrey admitted that he was worried about how many words he had to remember.

This winter has been brutal and we haven't done anything for seven months.

Daltrey said he would be fit as a butcher's dog again if he went on tour for a week.

The Teenage Cancer Trust concerts were once again hailed as a triumph despite his apprehension. Daltrey has served as the event's curator for 24 years. Roger Daltrey will perform classic Who songs, as well as solo material.

Pete Townshend, a member of the Who, has suggested that the famed rockers could return for one last trek.
