CelebrityAfter the production of Furiosa, Anya Taylor-Joy seemed depressed.

On her Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga press tour, Taylor-Joy has given reporters enough tidbits about the hardship she experienced behind the scenes to warrant a full documentary follow-up. It will be at least two decades before Taylor-Joy is ready to unpack everything that went down.

Taylor-Joy said that everything that she thought was going to be easy was hard. She looked at her eyes and said, "Next question, sorry." She said, "If you're going to do something like this, you want to be in the hands of someone like George Miller." She said she always wanted to make sure he felt respected even though she had her own ideas. This is his vision at the end of the day.

The official trailer for Furiosa is here.

The production for Furiosa sounds like it is going to be hard. She said in the NYT interview that she went months on the Australian set without speaking a single line as Miller tried to perfect the main action sequence. She said in a Variety cover story last week that she hadn't seen anyone in two months who wasn't in wasteland hair and makeup. She says she and Theron are very much in touch, and that they are due a sit-down.

Taylor-Joy told Variety that she cannot speak after the first three minutes of the film. I found it very traumatizing to watch and I wonder if I will ever be able to watch it again.
