NASA will be renting wheels to drive around the moon. The vehicles would be able to drive autonomously after the astronauts return to Earth. Jacob Bleacher, the chief exploration scientist at NASA, said at a news conference on Wednesday that there are no roads where it will go.
One of the companies landed a robotic vehicle on the moon in February, and the other two will build a vehicle for NASA.
