The company has added the iPhone X, first-generation AirPods, and original HomePod to its list of vintage and obsolete products. When Apple stopped distributing them for sale less than seven years ago, they are considered obsolete. Vintage Apple products are still eligible for repairs, but repairs are based on parts availability.
The first truly wireless headphones were released in December of 2016 and have since grown into a full lineup. The HomePod was delayed until February of last year, but was released in January of next year. The first major redesign to the iPhone was the edge-to-edge screen with Face ID. It was the first phone to cost more than $1,000, and it was the first to come with a screen made of organic materials.
