MusicAt a free hometown concert, new song "Selfish" was released by Justin Timberlake.

The wait is over, as was confirmed Friday night by the singer, who said his new album is on the way. The DJ played his new single, "No Angels," as well as a song called "Selfish," which he said was from the new album. T-shirts for sale at the Memphis show referred to "everything I thought it was." The new album will be the sixth solo offering of the Memphis-born singer's career and his first in six years. His first solo album was "Justified." His second album was "Man of the Woods." "JUST IN MEMPHIS, JUST IN TIMBERLAKE IS PERFORMING FOR ONE NIGHT" was a joke depicted below a black square. The caption continued: "Justin Timberlake – Age: – Weight: Up – Eyes: Precision – Hair:Depends." Timbaland told Entertainment Tonight last year that a new album would be released in four years. Timbaland said in an interview that the album would be a return to fun. The singer scrubbed his social media accounts as if to make way for a career reset and a new project as part of what appeared to be a reset ahead of a new project. He and his former band, *NSYNC, collaborated on a song that appeared on the "Trolls Band Together" soundtrack. "Trolls Band Together" was the third film in the animated series that earned an Oscar nod for Best Original Song, following "Can't Stop the Feeling!" and "Trolls". He is also a lead voice actor in the series. He is scheduled to appear on "The Tonight Show" in January, as part of the promotional campaign for his new album. He will be on "Saturday Night Live" on January 27.
