While leaving One Direction, he regretted not enjoying the band before he left. Speaking about his upcoming album, Room Under The Stairs, which is due to arrive on May 17 via Mercury Records, he contemplated about his past with One Direction. When asked if there is anything he is thankful for today that he wasn't able to appreciate at the time, he said: "The main thing that I always feel bad about is not enjoying the band enough."
He said that he was grateful that he was able to be happier. I think it is cool to be sad all the time, but you are just a loser.
It will mark his first live performance since quitting One Direction.
The former One Direction singer has yet to perform live since launching his solo career. Dhruva Balram wrote a three-star review of the last release by the former One Direction singer, saying that he is working out a few chinks in his armour.
One Direction's Zayn recently stated that he would like aMiley Cyrus collaboration and that he's been revisiting the band's music. The musician reminisced about his time with his former band, saying: "We made some good music as a band."
