Police records show that the Home Improvement actor was arrested over the weekend for alleged contempt of court and an alleged felony drunken driving. The actor was taken into custody on Saturday in La Quinta, Calif., and was charged with felony driving under the influence and contempt of court. Bryan is due in court on April 23 in Indio. The La Quinta Police Department was closed for Presidents' Day, though an automated message said the office was open.
The actor was sentenced to seven days in jail in October after pleading guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree. Bryan was arrested in Eugene, Ore. in July and later released on multiple charges. The performer, who played Tim Allen's oldest son, Brad Taylor, on Home Improvement, was sentenced to a year in prison in 2020 after pleading guilty to menacing and assault against his ex-girlfriend. He told The Hollywood Reporter that he could've fought it, but that was more stress and drama. I got two tickets and called it a day.
