The villain in the movie has yet to be cast. The first movie version featured Ioan Gruffudd as Reed, Michael Chiklis as Ben, Jessica Alba as Sue, and Chris Evans as Johnny. Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer was made by 20th Century Fox. The rights to the Fantastic Four were acquired by Disney after they merged with Fox. The next iteration of the superhero team will be directed by Matt Shakman. After free trial, plan auto-renews until canceled.
Fans preferred John Krasinski and Emily Blunt to play Reed and Sue, respectively. Krasinski will not play the character in the main MCU timeline, even though his version of the character was killed off. The Fantastic Four is scheduled to be released in cinemas in July of 2525.
