Kate Moss has a career that has seen her front international campaigns and magazine covers, walk the most famous runways, and take to the red carpet at some of the most illustrious events the world over. ELLE UK had a sneak peek into the backstage beauty rituals of the model at the Fashion Awards. Moss tells ELLE UK that she loves having a facial when she can squeeze in an appointment. If I'm short on time, I put my face in a bowl of iced water and cucumber slices. She says that she loves listening to music while getting her hair and make-up done. The model and multi-hyphenate wore a vintage black dress and cape with bold eyeliner and lots of it. Moss went for a grungier, Noughties-inspired waterline look instead of the traditional route. Charlotte's The Beautyverse Palette and Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes Mascara were used to create Kate's dramatic eye look. Til chose a bold eye and nude lip in order to balance out the look of the vintage black dress Kate picked for tonight. Tilbury kept the rest of her make-up minimal, with the exception of the bold, separated lashes. Charlotte's Nude Lip Cheat, Hollywood blush, and Glow Glide were used to enhance Kate's face, as well as Charlotte's Rock Lips lipstick in Rocket Girl. I gave her Charlotte's Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder and mini–Setting Spray.
Moss kept her hair loose with signature, beachy waves, thanks to the Sam McKnight Cool Girl spray. Moss tells us that it's perfect for getting effortless, tousled sexy style. She attended the Fashion Awards for the first time and she said that she loves getting ready more than the party. Moss tells us she still loves a classic look; glowing skin, a smokey eye, and a nude lip. The founder of the Cosmoss brand was joined by his daughter, who wore her own attire to support make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury who received a Special Recognition Awards.
