Neeson told The Telegraph that he was sad to hear about the accusations against Spacey. He's sensitive, articulate and non-judgmental, with a terrific sense of humor. The "House of Cards" was broadcasted on May 6 and 7 in the United States. He posted on X that the network did not give him enough time to respond to allegations dating back 48 years and that he didn't have enough details to investigate them. "Channel 4 refused on the basis of asking for a response in seven days to new, anonymized and non-specific allegations is a fair opportunity for me to refute any allegations made against me," Spacey claimed. After a four-week trial in London, the New Jersey native was acquitted of nine sexual assault charges. The actor is accused of grabbing the crotches of three men. He's thankful for his friends in the industry who have supported him. He said that his friends have been standing up for him for a long time. He told Cuomo that he believes it is moving in a positive direction. I'm trying to show that I've listened, I've learned, and I'm not going to do anything that's questionable in the future. I wanted to get back to work after spending the past seven years listening and asking a lot of questions. Spacey said he has to work hard to rebuild the trust that some may have lost in him. I have to demonstrate every single day in every single experience that I'm in and that I'm ready to move forward that I am.

During the interview, Spacey talked about the #MeToo movement. He told Cuomo that there was an impact on the Me Too movement. "However, as these sort of pendulums swing from one side to the other, I think it's swung very, very far in the direction of unfairness and not allowing people, and I'm not just talking about myself, but a whole lot of people." Cuomo was accused of sexual misconduct in 2021. We have to be careful that the pendulum doesn't swing too far in the other direction because we have to be aware of the Me Too.
"I accept my accountability; I think it's incredibly important," he said. I am not going to be held accountable for things that I didn't do, but I believe that my role in it was my role in it.
