CelebrityMark Wahlberg doesn't want to have surgery on his injured knee.

After tearing his knee on the first day of filming for "Arthur the King", Mark Wahlberg doesn't plan on having surgery. "It's not my thing, Mark."

The actor injured himself running on a hill and sometimes wakes up at 4 a.m. for exercise. The doctor was pretty adamant about doing the surgery because if it locks, you can't move. While the doctor suggested surgery, he continued to film for the movie. He tore his meniscus on the first day of production and was unable to shut the production down. "These guys, you know, adventure racers, endurance athletes, incredible, absolutely incredible, and I had to fight through because it's a true story." I can't wait for people to see it, it's remarkable, I gravitate towards true stories. Mark was injured on the first day of most physical demands of his life.
