Pierce Brosnan is not guilty of illegal hiking.

According to court documents, Brosnan has pleaded not guilty to hiking in a restricted area of the park. The charging documents state that one of the incidents was a violation of a closed area and the other was foot travel in a thermal area. The National Park Service warns that the hot springs can cause severe or fatal burns. The water beneath the springs is very hot. The lawyer representing Brosnan in the case did not comment.
