Taylor Swift received nine nominations, followed by Jelly Roll, SZA, and 21 Savage with eight each. Swift is in contention for a number of awards, including song of the year, pop song of the year, artist of the year, best lyrics, and TikTok bop of the year. Jelly Roll is a nominee in multiple categories at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Fans can vote in several categories, including best lyrics, best music video, best fan army, social star award, favorite tour photographer, favorite tour style and two new fields: favorite on screen and favorite debut album. Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, SZA, and Dua Lipa will compete for song of the year.

Pop artist of the year, K-pop artist of the year, K-pop song of the year, and the best new K-pop artist are some of the categories this year. Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer" and Selena Gomez's "Calm Down" are the top nominees for song of the year.
