The Phone (2a) hits pre-order at $349.

TechnologyThe Phone (2a) hits pre-order at $349.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is now officially an official product, just under a week after its limited debut at the company's after party. There is an important caveat in the US regarding the first phone that goes directly after the mid-tier/budget space. The phone is only available for developers who want to integrate third-party apps with the light up Glyphs on the device. You have a chance to build your own integration with the Glyph Interface.

The phone will be available in the U.K. and India through traditional means. In the firm's home market, it is available in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/128GB models. The models cost 23,999 and 27,099 in India. It will be the only market to get a third configuration for 25,999. Smart Clean and Adaptive NTFS have been introduced by Nothing and the two companies have been able to reduce power consumption of specific components by up to 10%. The Nothing Phone (2) will be a step down from the flagship. The phone's back is similar to the phones that came before it, with a trademark transparent design and light-up Glyphs. The more premium phone has a 6.7-inch screen, while the (2a) has a 120Hz refresh rate. The $639 Nothing Phone (2) is a mid-tier price point, given the number of flagships that top out at over $1,000.
