There is a new feature in the Photos app that will show you pictures and videos that have been lost or damaged. The Recovered album in the Photos app can be used to find lost or damaged photos and videos. When you update to the latest versions of Apple's operating systems, your device will automatically detect and recover photos and videos. There are a few instances in which a photo or video can be lost or damaged. TheRecovered album will only appear if there are any lost or damaged photos on your device. You can find the Recovered album in the Photos app if you follow the following steps.
If your device has any lost or damaged photos or videos, it won't show up as an option. The database corruption bug in the previous release of the operating system caused deleted photos to reappear. Users can now have more control over the deletion of photos and videos with the added of the Recovered album.
