Arts and EntertainmentThe 'Titanic' door prop that saved Rose sells for $718,750.

At the end of the movie "Titanic," Rose floats atop an ornately decorated piece of a door frame as her beloved Jack clings to its edge. Rose will never let go of Jack as she frees herself from his icy grip and he slips below the surface of the icy Atlantic. The door frame was made out of balsa wood and sold at an auction for $718,750. The whip from the movie "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Fear," a bowling ball from the movie "Kingpin" and the ax from the movie "The Shining" brought in more than 15 million dollars at an auction. The event shattered expectations, setting a record for the company's auctions of movie props and costumes, drawing more than 5,500 bids from around the world.
