FashionWhat is it about Celine?

My inbox was flooded with messages and text messages when we broke the news that Hedi Slimane was launching a new product. I wondered why the response was different when most fashion businesses are hoping to launch their own beauty businesses, or partner with a licensing company for a makeup or skincare collection. The house is starting with a single red lipstick, Rouge Triomphe, this autumn before offering a complete, 15-piece lineup of satin lipsticks in January 2025. The vision of Slimane is to create a world for customers in fashion, fragrance and now cosmetics. The beauty division at the luxury group has a new boss, and his name is Stéphane Rinderknech and he was named chairman and CEO last year. Beauty trends are getting more ephemeral, and much, much weirder.

Hedi Slimane launched a beauty line. The Body Shop filed for Chapter 7 in the US and Canada, putting about 400 jobs at risk. In Canada, more than 200 jobs have been lost as a result of the closing of 33 shops. The company wants to raise 850 million through the sale of stock. The drugmaker said prescriptions would be delivered by either Amazon Pharmacy or Truepill depending on the patient's insurance coverage and other factors.
