Green Day altered the words to a song while on the "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" show. The band sang their song "American Idiot" but instead of saying "I'm not a part of a redneck agenda" they said "I'm not part of theMAGA agenda."
While Trump supporters raged against the band's performance, those opposing the polls-leading GOP candidate applauded the change in lyrics.

Rob Van Winkle, also known as "Vanilla Ice," gained international fame in the 1990s for his hit "Ice Ice Baby" and for appearing in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" films. When the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" was released, Vanilla Ice's "Ninja Turtle" rap was used. Trump spoke to the crowd at Mar-a-Lago during New Year's Eve.
Trump did not give a speech on the red carpet, but he did speak to the crowd that attended the event, according to videos posted on social media. He said that this coming November's election is a crucial one and that we have to get the vote. Trump joked that members were selling tickets for as much as $10,000 at the annual bash. He said that they were going to have a great year. He said that the illness is a tough one, but "hopefully she will be recovering" from it. He said his children were in attendance, but one went skiing. "I told you to go ahead, enjoy yourself, don't fall, please," Trump said. Trump didn't name names but presumably he was talking about eldest daughter, who has distanced herself from Trump's ongoing political comeback campaign.
