Los Angeles is a mess because it is mostly un planned and disorganized. Los Angeles has an aesthetic perfect due to its skies. Even without the haze that enhances these atmospheric special effects, breathtaking ombres of color ascend from the horizon. The vault of the heavens was the inspiration for many of the region's most celebrated artists in the 1960s. Modern industrial materials such as ground glass, lacquers and microfilm coating replaced traditional paint on canvas.
