There was an extra line item in the Emmys budget this year for recreations of some of the most famous sets in television history, such as the red bar seats from "Cheers" and the dark green living room couch from "Martin".
To honor the 75th anniversary of the Emmys, the show reunited the casts of several beloved series, with Michael Imperioli and Lorraine Bracco appearing as a nod to "The Sopranos" before the spotlight was on "Martin." Tisha Campbell, who played Lawrence's girlfriend, and Carl Anthony Payne II and Tichina Arnold, who played two of the couple, joined Lawrence in a recreation of his living room. The actors spoke to the audience that despite the show's cultural impact and five-season run, it never received an Emmy nomination.
