TechnologyThe upcoming debut of the Ace 3 is shown off in metallic-effect Mingsha Gold.

The first variant of the upcoming flagship phone from the company is expected to debut as a secondary variant on the global market in 2024, but not before it arrives as the Ace 3 in China. One of the brand's most innovative, distinctive finish options will debut with it.

The top-end 12 is widely expected to launch as a variation on the Ace 3 with a 1.5K display, a previous-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and no flagship-grade Hasselblad- branded rear cameras. It is expected to be very different from the 12 with different color options such as Star Black, Moon Sea Blue and Mingsha Gold. It's not the most unusual thing about Mingsha Gold, it's the fact that it might look more bronze on screen. The rear glass panel of the phone looks like metal according to the company, which claims to have developed a "brand-new" production process. The new finish of an Ace 3 is backed "to interpret the art of light and shadow to the extreme", as well as 2 other themed options that will be added on its early 2024 debut. There is no guarantee that any of them will be retained if the third-gen is renamed as an 11R successor.
